  2. Adapt positive attitudes toward life through humor and/or religion, and act as if this is your last day on earth.
  3. Avoid overstimulation through work, chemicals, noise, or traffic.
  4. Listen to others; practice trusting others.
  5. Have a close confidant. Talk regularly, especially before stress explosion.
  6. Laugh at yourself more.
  7. Meditate. Calm yourself.
  8. Increase your empathy for other fallible human beings. Someone else may be having a bad day!
  9. Be tolerant. There are an infinite variety of cultural patterns and people.
  10. Forgive. Let go of your need to blame someone/something for wrongness in life.
  11. Work towards resolution of problems in life – not necessarily victory.
  12. Keep your life clear. Deal with issues when they arise – not after stewing or ruminating.
