- Improve your relationships with other -- practice tolerance.
- Adapt positive attitudes toward life through humor and/or religion, and act as if this is your last day on earth.
- Avoid overstimulation through work, chemicals, noise, or traffic.
- Listen to others; practice trusting others.
- Have a close confidant. Talk regularly, especially before stress explosion.
- Laugh at yourself more.
- Meditate. Calm yourself.
- Increase your empathy for other fallible human beings. Someone else may be having a bad day!
- Be tolerant. There are an infinite variety of cultural patterns and people.
- Forgive. Let go of your need to blame someone/something for wrongness in life.
- Work towards resolution of problems in life – not necessarily victory.
- Keep your life clear. Deal with issues when they arise – not after stewing or ruminating.
